Somewhere between the sun-drenched streets of Jaffa and the mysterious alleys of 70s Istanbul, Şatellites craft a sound that’s both nostalgic and fiercely fresh. With deep grooves, swirling synths, and traditional Turkish folk at its core, their music bridges continents and generations. Honoring Anatolian psych legends while lighting up today’s dance floors.

Born from bandleader Itamar Kluger’s discovery of the saz in Turkey’s Kaçkar mountains, Şatellites blend electric bağlama, Greek bouzouki, punchy bass, and percussion into a live experience that’s both hypnotic and high-energy. From the funky disco beat of Disko Arabesque to the celestial lead guitar in Yağmur Yağar Taş Üstüne, the band add fire and flair to time-honoured pieces of Turkish music giving them new meanings. This six-piece collective moves crowds with every performance.

In March 2025 they’ve released their second album Aylar and now they’re ready to hit stages throughout Europe.
